Smile MCSE world proudly endorses Boson Test Exams.

MCSE world proudly endorses Boson Test Exams.

Over the last 12 months or so I have had the privilege of using first the beta exams, and then the production exams of the latest “best of breed” test exam offerings from Boson Software.

With the hectic demands of working as a seasoned network administrator for many years, the quality of the Boson Software test exam series is a great way for me to maximize my study time and efficiently identify areas that require further research.

The quality of the questions are superb and at the appropriate level of difficulty for the certification levels being studied towards by the candidate.

During my recent revision of both the Cisco ICND1 and Cisco ICND2 exams, the questions are clearly orientated towards the study objectives of both exams as per the Cisco guidelines for these exams.

Clearly a very concise testing regime has been implemented from the top down with the questions designed to thoroughly test the candidate’s knowledge in the relevant certification areas.

The explanations, together with the associated links and references are another component of these test exams which have been written in a concise, organized and relevant manner directly relating to the course objectives and job industry requirements for IT professionals.

The Boson test exams all are designed around a common and well implemented modular structure that consists of the exam questions and explanations, along with several superb simulations.

The simulation capabilities of the Boson test exams are very impressive and I would rate their offerings here as industry leading, the simulations function reliably and accurately compared to other testing exam vendors offerings.

The questions and simulations from Boson also avoid the “so what” aspect prevalent in other vendor’s offerings by offering a lightweight question or simulation just as a filler, which can be a waste on time for a candidate seeking both to improve their knowledge and prepare adequately for an actual exam.

The functionality of the Boson test exams is greatly aided by the various exam options that are available at the start of the exam, the product offers superior management of various exams that a candidate has purchased, which I found to be on considerable assistance in working with the products.

Finally the update mechanism for the Boson test exams allows the products to be updated quickly and effectively during the life cycle of the exam. This means that these test exams then remain a valuable point of reference for job skills and revision after the actual exam is completed.

My recommendation is that if you are considering test exams for IT certifications, please carefully consider the offerings for Boson Software.

Note:
MCSEworld is not commercially affiliated with Boson software and the opinions are my own, offered as editorial, and borne out by intensive use of these exams. As a result of the Boson test program I elected to purchase several addition Boson exams to continue my IT study process.

Focus your efforts on one certification objective at a time, preferably the one you are weakest on at that point in time, making the objective something you understand well.

Hi

I have also used Boson Test Exams and would also recommend them, I found the questions were excellent preparation for the exam and it also highlighted some areas which I was weak in and needed to study further. They are my company of choice for Test Exams

As a product tester i have to say is brilliant and really similar to the exam's experience.

ps: I wouldn't mind to hear about a new book for the 70-680 too.

Re: MCSE world proudly endorses Boson Test Exams.

I've sampled a few questions last year from Boson's Cisco product. A buddy of mine was studying and I asked to see a few questions. I was very impressed and so was he.

Also, I checked out a few of my own for their Network+ as well. Pretty decent.

No new Sybex books from me and Josh in the near future... but we will probably create practice exams at some point for 70-680.

Do you write for Sybex? The SCCM manual is great!

Re: MCSE world proudly endorses Boson Test Exams.

I really need to look into getting the 642-642 and see how it plays out from a Cisco testing perspective (that exam has troubled me several times in the past and is the last exam in my VP series, have to get that done soon so that I can focus on the CCIE-V MBO). Once I get those out of the way, upgrading to the replacement for the MCSE-Messaging is in short order.

Have too many tests to complete this year and still need to get back on the degree track (why can't somebody get an ABET-accredited online BSEE program going).

BosonMichael - hope all is going well for you and everyone else here, since I have not hung out as much as I did at the older sites.

Re: MCSE world proudly endorses Boson Test Exams.

I love Bososn Test Exams and have endorsed them for years.

Everytime I read a book, watch a video on demand chapter of entire course even newer courses with older Boson exam and find the exam still covers the objectives and the knowledge required to be right on target I smile and know I made the right investment.

I can't say enough to thank Boson exams. Anytime, I need to freshen up on area of technology I've used them for I've found them to be the right fix to either prepare me or bring up to speed in the least amount of time.

And I've used Boson Test Exams for scores of exams by now.

If you ever read my posts anywhere, you will here me time and time again referring to going back to my roots... those roots are with Boson practice test exams. They get the job done.

Re: MCSE world proudly endorses Boson Test Exams.

FYI - Boson Router Simulators:

I've had the opportunity to use these a time or two in the past and I have to say they do a very good job of "being the router". A lot of people like Dynamips these days since it is a router emulator based on actual IOS.

However, Dynamips requires decent hardware and know how to configure without it becoming a hog or not running very well.

Boson Sims install easy and work right out of the box.

What it comes down to is the question of whether you want to spend time configuring Dynamips or practicing what you need to pass the practical for a Cisco exam.

Just a thought.

Each has its place. The rest is for you to decide.

I see the Boson Sims as a great vehicle for making CCIE Troubleshooting Scenarios - mini-labs.
