Re: 70-291 RRAS Lab Setup

Ok...

I did some googling and managed to help myself along a bit with setting up the serial port connection.

I have connected a named pipe to the "Host" - as this end is the server the other end a virtual machine to \\.\pipe\com_1.

Then i created a another serial port on the "Guest" - as this end is the client the other end is the virtual machine to \\.\pipe\com_1.

The thing is....how do i connect them in windows? How do i know its connected and can prove it.... Ideally i would like to be able to ping through the serial ports.
