High Windows 7 satisfaction spurs corporate IT spending

"Windows 7, just two months on the market, is accelerating the pace of corporate computer buying, market research firm ChangeWave said. Part of the reason may be that 93% of the IT professionals polled said that their company is satisfied with the new operating system, a one percentage point increase over a similar survey in July."

Good news for both Windows 7 and for Microsoft, as reported by Computerworld.com.

The wife and I gifted each other with two new Dell computers with Windows 7 this holiday season. I am totally satisfied with 7 and enjoy using it so far.

I recently purchased a Dell Workstation with Windows 7 Professional. Have only scratched the surface of its potential, but no complaints so far. Installed XP Mode to run some legacy apps and it works like a dream.

You know that MS say XP mode is the "last" resort for Program compatability ;)

The OS is pretty tidy though.
