Microsoft plans to release the Windows Vista in 7 different editions.
They are in 2 Categories: Home and Business

Under the Home category, Microsoft will release 4 product editions;
Windows Vista Ultimate Edition,
Windows Vista Home Premium Edition,
Windows Vista Home Basic Edition and
Windows Vista Starter Edition

In the Business category - 3 product editions;
Windows Vista Enterprise Edition,
Windows Vista Professional Edition and
Windows Vista Small Business Edition

Starter edition just supports 3 applications. Allmost noone will want to be limited so much, but most likely that will be the program which OEM will put on their machines.
Big business for MS, because most users wil update very soon o a bigger and more expensive version.
